Peggy,
Here is what I copied from the Ohio Rare Birds Facebook page.
There is a juvenile male ANNA’S HUMMINGBIRD being hosted by Gerry Brevoort
at her home in Clintonville (Franklin County), a third state record. It has
been present since the middle of last week, but Leslie and I were able to
definitively identify it today. She is excited and willing to host birders,
but with very specific conditions. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY AND
STRICTLY ADHERE TO THESE RULES. Failure to do so will result in immediate
closure and access will be revoked.
Visitation will be open on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2024 ONLY between the hours
of 9am-4pm. Gerry’s address is 171 Erie Road Columbus, OH 43214. Please
park along the street and walk up the driveway beside the house. There are
two feeders the bird is making use of; one right beside the house along the
driveway and the other is in the backyard. Unless told otherwise, please
stand ONLY in the driveway to avoid spooking him. There are public
restrooms at the Whetstone Public Library 3 blocks north if needed. Any
further openings will be communicated on this post as they are determined.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SHOW UP OUTSIDE OF ESTABLISHED VISITATION HOURS.
Also present are TWO different Ruby-throated Hummingbirds.
