- Comments: "At the south end of the lake, on the far west side. Spotted a
large Sandpiper at the tip of one of the small islands. Got it in the
scope, Whimbrel. Brownish in color with long decurved bill, not as long as
Curlew. Very poor distant photos before it flew off."
