About midsummer all the small passerines seemed to essentially vanish from our yard. We have mixed conifer and deciduous so the two chickadees were other common, along with Songs Sparrow and dark-eyed Junco. We normally have quite a few Purple (especially) and House finches. All down.
Last year was fairly low, but not this bad.

A very few are showing up now. Both species. Don't think in banded any YOY. Actually, I think juncos and Steller's Jays are all I have seen YOY's.
