All, I met Ken Hollinga today to bird around Lompoc as he was back visiting friends. We found a White-throated Sparrow at Miguelito Park. At Ocean Park there were many distant clumped up ducks and shorebirds. Daniel's female Eurasian Wigeon was still present. New in were 6 Bonaparte's Gulls and a Pacific Golden-Plover. Ken told me that Brad Hines has moved to ID to be closer to family. Brad hasn't been active much the last decade or more but found many great birds around Lompoc, including the only GW Warbler I have seen in the state.
