Hi,
Shweta Shidhore and I led a SCVBA field trip to Stevens Creek County Park today morning. Fall/winter arrivals made their presence felt with Golden-crowned Sparrows, Ruby-crowned Kinglets and lots of obliging Hermit Thrushes along the trail. Came upon a couple of Red-breasted Sapsuckers, the returning one from last few years, working the sapwells in the Baytree Picnic Area and another in the loop beside the Rim Trail. We also had a Hutton's Vireo, along with Yellow-rumped and Townsend's Warbler in the oaks. We saw/heard 34 species through the trip noted in this checklist https://ebird.org/checklist/S200506193.
