A group of four of us birded 29 Palms today. The GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH continued at the 29 Palms Inn, in its usual location next to the pond. During the time that we were there, at least, it seemed to be a bit more wary than before, only spending a minute or less each time it would appear. An adult male YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER was on the southern edge of Luckie Park, near the tennis/basketball counts, accompanied by a Red-naped Sapsucker. And Johnny Bovee found a GRAY CATBIRD on private property.
