Joined by friends with good eyes and ears, John Raeside and Anais Starr, I walked east on Potts hay fields and along Bishop creek. No wind helped. :Lotsa new stuff: winter sparrows including white crowned, white throated, Lincolns, Song, Lark Savannah, as well as a pine siskin, spotted and Eastern towhees. a northern Harrier,and best bird of the day-- an American Woodcock..
