Weather: Sunny to start the day with clouds (yes, clouds!) moving in and becoming nearly overcast in the mid-afternoon before clearing again in the last hour. Moderate northwesterly winds. Not too cold. Pleasant day.
Raptor Observations: A steady migration. Moderate vulture migration. A decent amount of Bald Eagle activity with 9 counted as migrants. Another good day for harriers with ten. Moderate Accip flight. Increasing numbers of Buteos with 15 red-shoulders and 19 red-tails. The only falcons were four kestrels.
Non-raptor Observations: 60 Canada Geese, 3 Common Ravens, 75 Tree Swallows, Hermit Thrush, 400+ American Robins, 200+ Cedar Waxwings, House Sparrow, 30+ Purple Finches, 2 Savannah Sparrows, 3 monarchs. https://ebird.org/checklist/S200387310
