I experienced a similar occasion to observe night time roosting arrivals back in early November, 2011. Joanne Aasen, Maggie Smith and I counted 107 incoming on one evening. They arrived, settled down for the night and then dispersed into the area in daylight. After a short while they moved on. Truly memorable! I can find no references to WTKI migration patterns on line. Still not sure what was going on there. And now….Meadow Park!

BOW and others sites that I just searched stated no information on migratory behavior. If anyone has any further reference on WTKI migration I would love to read it.

They were gathering for the night and just about to land in some of the large trees in Meadow when someone flew a drone through the middle of the flock. This occured about 6:30 pm at the peak of the gathering. It appeared to come from a yard adjacent or close to the park. The birds completely scattered and left the area after roosting there safely for the last two weeks.
