Subject: [CT Birds] Buffleheads
Fairly certain I saw 5 female/immature Buffleheads at Old Marsh Pond in
Bristol, CT today around 11:45am. Water is low. Stopped to look at white
birds resting on a rock exposed by the low water level and found several
gulls along with, what I believe to have been 5 Buffleheads nearby. They
kept disappearing beneath the water before all flying further north in the
reservoir.
