Total observation time: 5.5 hours

Official Counter:       John Weeks

Observers: Jim Reid, John Weeks

Visitors:
Jim Reid brought up his cousin Jeff and Jeff's wife Allison.  Steve Tesh
returned with Luna the dog and once again helped immensely with finding
birds in a tough sky.

Weather:
Hazy blue sky, zero clouds.  Wind NE 8-10 mph, shifting mid-afternoon to
ENE 5-7 mph. Temperature 54-64 F.

Raptor Observations:
The Turkey Vultures seemed bemused by the return of milder temperatures
today:  "Should we migrate or stick around a little longer?"  "I dunno,
what do you think?" Not counted as migrants: Black Vultures 4 (presumably
the same group we've seen several times lately), Bald Eagles 3 (two adults,
one immature), Cooper's Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk.

Non-raptor Observations:
The spigot of Canada Geese was shut off today.  American Black Duck, Blue
Jays 4 (3 migrants), American Crows 10, Common Ravens (group of 6),
Black-capped Chickadees 2, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, White-breasted Nuthatch,
Eastern Bluebird, Purple Finch, American Goldfinch, Dark-eyed Junco.
