Weds AM, a new Lucy's Warbler in in the Sorrento Valley area, along the creek behind the Creekside Labs/Shoreline Biosciences buildings along Sorrento Valley Road immediately west of I-805. West end of rear parking lot, in the Chinese Elms and along the creek.
Also this morning, I checked multiple tipu parking lots between Solana Beach and UTC, and almost every one had plenty of Yellow-rumps and a moderate number of Orange-crowns (plus several B-t Grays, Townsend's, and a couple Yellows). So the tipus in town finally seem to be getting a fair number of birds in them--after somewhat of a delay.
