The Painted Bunting was initially seen in creek N of campsites at the Gaviota Park just briefly. Later I was going through the many sparrows and finches present throughout the campground when I spotted a Lazuli Bunting. The Lazuli eventually flew and landed right next to the Painted Bunting where I was able to photograph. Both were feeding calmly with the other sparrow and finches so may be re-findable if of interest.
