Weather: Mostly sunny; cumulus cloud-cover fluctuated between 20% and 35%. Blustery wind 8 mph, WNW shifting to W. Temperature 58-60 F.
Raptor Observations: Turkey Vultures predominated, passing through singly, in pairs, and in small groups of 4 to 13 birds. A curiosity was the sight of a Black Vulture trailing a Turkey Vulture west south west like a faithful dog â the first Black Vulture logged as a migrant here in years. Not counted as migrants: Bald Eagles 3 (two adults, one immature), Cooper's Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk.
