Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] FRNC Rose-breasted Grosbeak and Palm Warbler
First off, just a gentle reminder to all those visiting this week for the WFO meeting that the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery is open to birders only until around 8:00 a.m. And then after around 4:00 p.m. Please do not bird here between those times and cause potential future access problems. Wednesday morning a Palm Warbler, probably continuing now for a few days, is in the fairly large Yellow-rumped flock in the southwest corner, and a new, immature male Rose-breasted Grosbeak was along the south side of the cemetery, last seen disappearing out the southwest corner. A long-staying immature male Vermilion Flycatcher continues up near the northwest corner.

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
