Hello friends,
Last year I was able to provide access to my cottage courtyard, with permission from my 12 immediate neighbors. None of us knew she would overwinter, and after almost 200 people visited the yard last year - my neighbors would like a break. They have requested that I not invite the public to visit the courtyard or sidewalk outside of our cottages. Please respect this request and we thank you for your understanding.
The happy news, yes, I am extremely excited she has returned! Yes, I still have 15 feeders up, have changed the landscaping to include hummer-friendly plants, and will work all winter to keep her and her orange bully-friends around. It brings me much personal joy. (Wish I would have put up a sugar-fund box last year! haha)

Of note, two male BBHU visited the yard for 1-2 days a few weeks apart as well, they didn't stick.
