- Comments: "First discovered here three days ago on 1 October 2024 by Noah Arthur, and refound this morning by Alex Abela. Thanks to Eunice Schroeder for pointed out this bird when we arrived. Seen foraging on the ground around the picnic tables in the campsites on the north side (near the creek) approximately here: (34.5118355, -120.5011519). This was a stocky, large-headed, brown streaky bird with a thick two-toned silvery bill, and a long white patch along the folded wing. It had a white throat bordered by thick dark lateral throat-stripes, and was heavily streaked on the flanks and breast."

- Comments: "Continuing, presumably the same bird first reported by Noah Arthur on 10/1. Seen first around 8:30 a.m., then longer views starting around 9:30 a.m. Both times it was foraging on the ground around the picnic tables in the northernmost campsites. Streaky brown overall with broad dark lateral throat stripes, large silver-gray bill, prominent creamy-white wing patches, short tail. Photos."

Classic fall blackpoll with light yellow head and breast fading into white crissum, faint streaking along sides of breast, mostly dark legs with obviously orange feet, white undertail with dark outer corners, two white wing bars on dark wings, hint of supercilium. Didn’t see dorsum. Unfortunately I lost it as I got my camera up and never refound it, so no photos. Seen close to informational sign about the restored wetland"
