Subject: Re: [sbcobirding] W-w Dove at Miguelito creek pond, Lompoc
Hi all, I had a White-winged Dove on the catchment pond fence on Olive St.
yesterday pm. (just south of Ryon Park on south "O" St and Olive).
The creek is still flowing so the pond is full. It might be good for
wintering waterbirds. I discovered it recently, but few other birders seem
to know of the pond: only Libby Lindsay logged several oldish lists. The
fence is a nuisance, but it can be viewed from the Olive St side and also
from the S end of "N" St (on the East side of the pond). Saludos
