Subject: [sbcobirding] American Redstart etc
Hi all,

I birded a few spots in Isla Vista this afternoon with the most notable
bird being a beautiful adult male American Redstart in the riparian
corridor in Camino Corto Open Space! I had the bird moving around in the
oaks and willows west of the bridge.

A quick check at Anisq’Oyo produced good numbers of birds, with many of
them bathing at the east end of the pond, but nothing notable. Could be a
good spot to keep checking.

The figs at the Tipi Village are ripening quickly and could start
attracting more birds. Not much there today.

As always more details are in eBird. Redstart photos coming soon!

Happy birding,
Alex Castelein
