Subject: [sbcobirding] Gray Flycatcher and Sabine's Gull at Cachuma
The gull may be the first 'way-inland' record for the county.

Also present was a Gray Flycatcher, the first Ring-billed Gulls for the
season, 2 Forster's Terns, and an American Pipit.

The Osprey pair at Cachuma is still maintaining their territory, but their
nest will have to be removed from the intake tower. Recall that they did
not nest this year despite making what appears to be a finished nest. An
attempt will be made to pick the nest up and put it on a 30-foot pole to be
installed nearby. Santa Barbara County remains without a completed
breeding record of Osprey.
