Hi all, I read the proposal for Evergreen and it may or may not be OK. The proposal doesn't really mention or have any focus on birds or migratory birds, or the value of Riparian habitat for wildlife including migratory birds. Riparian birds in general need swaths of habitat, the wider the better, and not denuded habitat. Perhaps the intentions of restoring native habitat and de-hazarding existing vegetation is good, but the studies and viewpoints in this proposal (and perhaps in all the proposals) do not include birds or birders.
