In one hour of hawk-watching at the Bella Vista Dr. eBird hotspot in Montecito this afternoon I’ve had two Broad-winged Hawks (one juvenile, one adult) and two Golden Eagles.
As discussed in the Slack group, there have been large numbers of Broad-winged Hawks reported in the last few days from Marin County, so the next few days should be good for hawkwatching in Santa Barbara.
