Just to add a little to the other reports:
Sue spotted the Grosbeak a little before 11 a.m. in the myoporum hedge along the fence between the bike path and the nursery. There was a lot of activity in this spot for a time. The plants are festooned with drying berries and were providing a good food source.
Unfortunately, the bird flew back across the path into the creek vegetation after about 15 minutes and didn't come out again while I was there. Nevertheless, I think this is a good spot to watch for continuing appearances.
Apart from the Grosbeak, we had a fair amount of activity from Orange-crowned and Wilson's Warblers along the creek, but not much else. Until we saw the Grosbeak, our best bird was a Western Tanager.
