Today I was forwarded an email with photographs of a Western Kingbird which were apparently taken at the Goose Pond at Five Rivers. The email which I was forwarded was dated 9/16/2024, one week ago, but I do not know if that date is when the photographs were taken. Western Kingbird is a rare but regular vagrant to New York, with a handful of previous records in the capital region.
