Weather: Hot . Wind SW to NW with very little cloud cover until late in the day. Temperature started at 80 and climbed to 96F. Winds were from SW to NW between 4 and 15 mph
Raptor Observations: Local birds seen were Bald Eagle, Cooper's Hawk and Red-tailed Hawks. A few Broad-wings were still coming through today. Thanks to Alan Simon who took over the watch while John talked to the school students.
Non-raptor Observations: 1 Tree Swallow 5 Cedar Waxwings 3 Common Raven a flock of about 85 Brown-headed Cowbirds on the lawn near the gazebo
Predictions: Mostly cloudy and significantly cooler with temperatures reaching the mid 60's instead of the mid 90's.
