Subject: Re: [CT Birds] CTBirds Digest, Vol 4546, Issue 1: Identifying waterfowl
Thank you to all who replied about my request to help identify a waterfowl that was a new visitor to the lake. Consensus seems to be a juvenile double-breasted cormorant. Later in the afternoon, it found its flock/group and about 5-6 of them were resting on the other side of the lake with what appeared to be a couple of mallards tagging along.
