Subject: [MDBirding] (No longer present) Black-bellied Whistling-Duck in Baltimore
Local photographers found and photographed a BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING-DUCK at Merritt Point Park in Dundalk (Baltimore) yesterday evening. It was still present at 5:45 this morning but abruptly took flight at 6:30 and disappeared to the north.

A few birders spread out to check all of the nearby parks with duck ponds/creeks and I've only heard negative reports so far from Patterson Park, Lake Montebello, Cox's Point Park, Chesterwood Park, Stansbury Park, and the White Marsh Mall area.

Still worth a look at your local duck ponds today, especially in the Baltimore area.
