Weather: Partly cloudy; 64-75 degrees; excellent visibility; winds
light and variable often with a NW component, 0-7 mph

Raptor Observations: A pleasant day weather-wise and hawk-wise. At
least two of the Bald Eagles were southern-born juveniles.

Non-raptor Observations: Blackpoll Warbler, Laughing Gull (3), twelve
butterfly species, including a female Monarch laying eggs

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay
at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are
from the southwest.
