MAY 4TH 9 AM BUHL PARK BIRDERS  HAD A 3 HR BIRD WALK   TEMP 50 HUMIDITY 80%   WITH 25 PEOPLE WE STARTED OUT AT BUHL PARK CAR PARKING AREA EAST OF THE CASINO  AND IMMEDIATELY I  HEARD (SURPRISE) 3 WEAK  WHIP POOR WILL CALLS ( SEEN NOT HEARD)   THAT SHOCKED ME IT WAS NOT A MOCKINGBIRD    LOOKING AROUND QUICKLY  TO SEE IF THERE WAS A JOKESTER PLAYING AN ELECTRONIC CALL   I REALISED IT WAS FOR REAL     WOW !!! THIS IS GOING TO BE A GREAT MORNING     I THOUGHT    IT WAS A GREAT WALK WITH TENNESSEE WARBLER  SIGHTINGS  BLUE WING WARBLER   NASHVILLE WARBLER  YELLOW RUMP WARBS  GRAY CATBIRDS  TUFTED TITMOUSE  CHIPPING SPARROWS  BALTIMORE ORIOLES   FLICKER DOWNY HAIRY AND RED HEADED+RED BELLIED   WOODPECKERS     RB+ WB NUTHATCH  GRACKLES  RED WING BLACKBIRDS  E EASTERN BLUEBIRDS ENGLISH STARLINGS + SPARROWS FLUSHING OUT MEADOW BUGS    BROWN THRASHER A COOPERS HAWK  RED-TAIL HAWKS RED SHOULDER HAWKS GREAT BLUE HERON AND A SILLY BULLY OF A  MUTE SWAN   COMMON YELLOWTHROAT  BH COWBIRDS ROBINS CAROLINA WRENS TEAKETTLING AWAY  CARDINALS BLUE JAYS     CHIMNEY SWIFTS TREE SWALLOWS NORTHERN ROUGH WINGED SWALLOWS                          AND TO FINISH OUT THE MORNING THERE  WAS A  VERY COOL AIRSHOW  OVER LAKE JULIA WITH  3 OSPREY HARASSING A LONE BALD EAGLE      HAPPY SPRING BIRDING  BILL DROLSBAUGH  MIMI HOFFMASTER STEVE SANFORD JIM MCONNER JIM MONDOCK BARB SANDERS  STEVE JUBELIER AND MANY OTHER VERY DEVOTED BIRDERS FROM THE SHENANGO VALLEY
