Subject: [MDBirding] Mont. Co. AM. BITTERN Hughes Hollow, Darnestown Yard Birds: BLUE-HEADED VIREO and RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH
An American Bittern called twice from the second impoundment on right at
Hughes Hollow this morning 4/25. I didnt see it. A singing Blue-Headed
Vireo in a persimmon tree and a RB Nuthatch at the feeder, plus seven
chickadee eggs in one of the bird boxes, made for a nice morning in
Darnestown.
Good birding! Don Simonson, Darnestown MD
