3/25 Greenwich Point Park, Old Greenwich – 1 Barrow’s Goldeneye male, viewed for about 10 minutes in Sound off southwest corner of Eagle Pond around 11 am. Actively feeding with male Common Goldeneye. Not many other goldeneye around, mostly Long-tailed Ducks nearby. Could not relocate after trying to get a pic. Originally seen and photographed yesterday by birder from CO who was in area.
