Subject: Quivira Waterfowl/Shorebird Surveys 11 March
Late entry, but I wanted to make sure the numbers got out from the Refuge-wide Waterfowl and Shorebird Survey on Monday, March 11. No shorebirds were located. Mallard and Pintail numbers have dropped over the last couple of weeks, but Redhead and Sandhill Crane numbers were at their highest so far.

Tundra Swan = 10
Sandhill Crane = 37,000
American Coot = 6 (First of Season)
