We watched huge flocks of snow geese, tundra swans, with smaller numbers of Canadians and 6 green winged teal on a pond just south of Centreville yesterday near the intersection of Rolling Bridge Rd. and Starr Rd (Rt 309)-- west side of Rolling Bridge and north side of Starr rd-- right across from some large farm buildings.

For the past couple of weeks, there has been a truly monstrous flock of Snow Geese meandering around Centreville, MD. Photographer Kellen McCluskey happened to have her trusty camera handy on her way to work at Adkins Arboretum when she came upon the birds in a field. This is the link to her photos. Enjoy!!
