The Snow Bunting was first picked out by Jacob Mathison.

Right now the total sits at 141 species for the day. Rain was intermittent but overall the weather was in our favor and teams spent their time outside until the last light of the day. You can't beat the field hardiness of birders on the CBC.

Other species of note included RED CROSSBILL (2) which have been largely absent from Lincoln County this winter, PALM WARBLER, SWAMP SPARROW, SORA (2 different ones), and MARBLED GODWIT. A SNOW BUNTING was picked up by Isaac Denzer on the north jetty.
