Today it rained. Then it rained harder. Then it rained some more.
The current count total with one group still unaccounted for is 112. This is not a record low count, but it's close. The notable misses, many of which were seen yesterday, are too numerous to list.
Notable species found include 2 BARN SWALLOWS, 7 SWAMP SPARROWS, 8+ BLACK PHOEBES, at least 800 AMERICAN ROBINS, 15 SNOWY PLOVERS, and SNOW BUNTINGS. The pale infamous Bunting stayed safely outside the count circle (reported yesterday by Skip Russell at Del Rey).
