Subject: Guilford Co NC eBird Trip Summary
Greetings all

Today I spent yet another whole day Birding in another county in North Carolina.

I first spent all of Thanksgiving Day in Vance Co and then on Tuesday of this week in Wake Co and then went back to Vance on Thursday of this week and to end the week at Guilford Co.

I was trying to find the Female Common Merganser on Townsend Lake for a NC Life Bird but miss finding it.

Next I went to Townsend Lake - Church St for the Anhinga which I did find so I walked back to my car to get my camera and added my 2X extender but when I got back to take a picture it had flown. After about a 30 minute search to relocate it without any success so I started to leave and just as I started to walk off I saw the Anhinga in flight at the far west end of the cove.

I went from 41 to 64 Species for Guilford Co. and was lucky that what little rain that started at 1235 Hrs and only lasted about 10 minutes and then didn’t start up again until 1600 Hrs. So it was a much enjoyable day to be out.
