Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday November 29. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls
Two EASTERN BLUEBIRDS are now being seen at the Dhama Rain Zen Center at NE
85th. And Siskyou Streets in northeast Portland. A TUNDRA BEAN GOOSE is now
being seen at McFadden Marsh in Finley NWR. A MCKAYıS BUNTING is now being
seen among about 60 SNOW BUNTINGS on Clatsop Beach near the Sunset Beach
entrance. The NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH along Rentenaar Road on Sauvie Island is
still being seen. On November 23 another WATERTHRUSH was reported along
Reeder Road north of Oak Island Road. The Ona Beach MAGNOLIA,
BLACK-AND-WHITE, and PALM WARBLERS continue to be seen.
On November 25 a TROPICAL KINGBIRD was at Nehalem Meadows. A ROCK WREN was
seen that day at Yachats. Two PACIFIC LOONS, single WHITE-WINGED and SURF
SCOTERS were noted November 25 on the Columbia River off Columbia City. That
day a PACIFIC LOON, four WHITE-WINGED and a SURF SCOTER were off Hayden
Island in North Portland.
On November 25 a RUSTY BLACKBIRD and a HARRISıS SPARROW was at McNary Dam. A
LONG-TAILED DUCK has been at Suttle Lake in the Cascades all week.
