In my post I meant to also point out that the Finley bird seems to show less subterminal pattern in scapular/covert feathers, whereas the Nestucca bird had scaps/coverts that darkened some subterminally with the pale tips that creates a "frosted" look on the upper parts of some geese. Again, this could be the bi-product of light conditions or perhaps molt timing/feather wear.
