Subject: [southbaybirds] Swamp Sparrow along Guadalupe River trail
A second SWAMP SPARROW was seen at 4:30 today on the Guadalupe River
trail just north of the Coleman bridge. I got one brief look at the SWSA
foraging at the waters edge. It's distinct dark eye line widening
towards the gray nape, rufous wings and tail were the only field marks
seen. It appeared quite a bit smaller than a Song Sparrow. A SORA was
foraging in the open and two more were heard.
