I was birding Patriots in those days but missed the dickcissel and that was of course before the days of list serves and eBird.

As an old timer, I remember Ted Beckett found a Singing Dickcesselin the dike dredge disposal area at Patriot's Point.I saw the bird on 12 May 1988 and I think Ted Beckett found proof of a breeding pair at that time.
