Columbia Estuary Report - 11/17/2018

A TROPICAL KINGBIRD was flycatching from the Purple Martin pole at
the Ziak Refuge on the way out to Brownsmead. There were two TRUMPETER
SWANS at the end of Rudat Rd. They flew in off the river and are
presumably not part of the Ziak herd. There are at least three
WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS along Rudat Rd.

A ROCK SANDPIPER was with turnstones at the Barview Jetty yesterday.
There were multiple subspecies of both CANADA and CACKLING GEESE at
Nehalem Meadows. A pale-eyed female BREWER'S BLACKBIRD was in the
roving flock at Nehalem Sewage Ponds. Also seen there were the
continuing BLUE-WINGED TEAL and EARED GREBE.
