On November 5 a SUMMER TANAGER was photographed along Hwy 30 near North
Powder. A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was photographed November 2 among a large
flock of CALIFORNIA GULLS at Gold Beach. The Ona Beach State Park MAGNOLIA
WARBLER continues to be seen as is the Bend RUSTY BLACKBIRD.
Heavy migrations continue along the Oregon Coast.
The elusive Sauvie Island Rentenaar Road NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH was seen again
November 3. The first flock of SNOW GEESE arrived on the island November 1.
The Willamina BLACK SCOTER continues at the Huddleston Fishing Pond.
During the morning of November 3 a HEERMANNıS GULL was at Bonneville Dam.
Two were at Hood River that afternoon. A SURF SCOTER, a BRANT and a HARRISıS
SPARROW were at Hood River during week. Three BRANT and a SURF SCOTER were
at The Dalles November 6.
