Dark cap with frosty-edged feathers, light brown-buffy face, mostly white below with large dark central spot on breast in the middle of ‘necklace’, and with white throat. Large pink bill. "

There are several benches in this area, a trash can, and a sign. The bird at this approximate latitude and longitude: 34.440333, -119.847948."

White undersides. Black necklace and dot (like a stickpin). Buffy face with white throat. Richly streaked brown back. Pink bill. Obviously larger than the WCSP nearby. Don Thornton took photos. "
