I spotted a female/immature-type Harlequin Duck at Loyola Beach in Rogers Park, Chicago, late this afternoon. I first found it feeding along the metal breakwater north of the Loyola Dune, and it was still there feeding on the south side of Farwell Pier, along the south border of the Loyola Dune, when I left the beach after sunset today.
