Subject: [hmbirds] Saratoga Lake and Tomhannack
This morning there were four female plumage Red-breasted Mergs at Riley’s
Cove close to shore. Four Buffleheads and a Common Loon were at Browns
Beach.
Yesterday at the Tomhannock reservoir, across from the fishing parking lot
at the south end, there were about ten each Ruddy ducks, Ring-necked Ducks,
female plumage American Widgeon and Am Black Ducks. There were two large
rafts of Common Mergansers totaling 70-80, and, of course, tons of Canada
Geese.
