This morning, along with our two resident Eared Grebes, I saw two Horned Grebes at Boyd Point Wastewater Facility. Also present were about 400 American White Pelicans. They have been roosting overnight on the riprap that divides the northeast pond. They normally begin leaving to forage elsewhere around 10 am. There were no signs of the Avocets.
