Today and yesterday, I viewed the birds visiting the Morro Bay State Park marina.
Palm Warbler: Seen in its historical location, along the boardwalk's southwest section, out near the remains of the large dead pine tree.
Reddish Egrets: At the southeast section of the boardwalk, entertainingly interacting with snowies and great egrets.
Green-tailed Towhee: Seen (both days) in the same area as the palm warbler (sometimes at the same time). Often feeding on the ground, much like a Fox Sparrow, around the dead patches of iceplant. When with sparrows it flushed and hid at the slightest movement. When alone, it was all but oblivious to observation.
I add 8 photos to the many other fine images posted.
