Many hikers, ski lift riders and drive-ups and many queries about the
watch. I'm sure a few are planning to return (and that they'll bring more
clothing.It's Septembrrr.)

Weather:
(So much for the "mostly sunny" forecast!)
Winds: From NE thru most of the day with slight shift to ENE in the last 2
hours. Morning definitely chilly with breeze at 3-8mph/5-13kph all morning
with infrequent gusts early in the 12-15m/19-24k range. At noon wind
dropped to 0-5mph/0-8kph for rest of the watch.
Temperature slowly climbed from 50F/10C to 57/14 at the end.
Cloud cover 100% all morning and, generously, maybe 95% in the afternoon as
a slight brightening in the NE occurred.
Visibility 10 mi./ 16 km. all day.

Raptor Observations:
Watch was 7 hrs. 8am - 4pm. From 8-10am we enjoyed
a nice rush of close falcons. From 10am 'til noon
the BE's and BW's took over; then the winds backed
off and the pace slowed somewhat; also the birds were
frequently more distant.
OS 8;BE 19;NH 1;SS 12;NH 1;BW 52;AK 12;ML 8;UB 2;UR 10.
