Subject: [ALBIRDS] Limpkin at Wheeler NWR
Yesterday, a Limpkin was photographed in Dinsmore Slough at Wheeler
NWR. It was in view from 5:30-8:00 AM when flushed by an approaching
refuge vehicle. An attempt to find the bird from 7:30-9:00 AM this
morning was unsuccessful.
Dinsmore Slough is along Flint Creek south of the Refuge Visitor
Center. Public access to the area is restricted to boat and foot
