Hello Jersey Birders! Is anyone else puzzled by this sighting? The rare bird alert lists a roseate spoonbill sighting at Brig today at 2pm and again at 2:45pm. (I saw the bird at Brig at 12:55pm.) The closest GSP exit to Brig is #44 (Pomona); Exit 4 is Rt 47 at Cape May. So did superbird do an 80-mile round trip in 45 minutes or could there be a second spoonbill in the area? (Yeah, yeah, let's not get greedy.............)

Good birding!
